from dean's post
there are a lot of lucky people in the world who somehow know they are not going to need single payer
when i was in charleston i saw four major car crashes it got so i could tell by the sound of the crash whether or not to call 911...then once had to hold my phone's flashlight over one guys legs for the paramedic because he called for flashlight but the other paramedics were too busy helping the lady in the median whose car was even more f ed up
this guy - i put link below - was just sitting in his car obeying a red light at 3 am when i saw a car smash into him doing 60 mph i was about to try to open the car door when the cops yelled at me to get away because their fire extinguishers didn't work on the gasoline fire
the other guy, the guy who smashed into the first guy, moaned a little when i asked him if he was ok
i've no idea how they plan on keeping their private health insurance when they couldn't have gotten back to work in months maybe years
accident link comments on the fb post say the driver ( the one who survived ) was doing 90 mph i don't think he was going that fast
